From our customers
Wore this thing twice so far in 20° temps and it's amazing. I'm 5'10" 155 and medium fits perfectly. Very athletic fit to it, which I love! I hate huge baggy bibs or pants. Super warm - blocked the 15 mph NW wind, and super functional. Suspenders are super comfortable as well. No giant buckles and rubberized so they don't slide. Perfect 10/10 from a critical bowhunter.
The thing I struggled with the most while hunting Michigan is come the first of December I was always cold. The XKG Wind Defender Bib Pant gives me absolutely no excuse to not be in the stand. The lining is super comfortable, and paired with the Anorak makes it the best late season system.
Quality built & warm
Very well built, quality seams and zippers, well placed pockets. Internal lining is very warm with a shell that I believe will repel a light rain/dew (haven't sat in rain yet). Outer shell is quiet, so no concern as a bowhunter. Runs slightly small. I purchased a large and would have difficulty wearing with pants underneath. I'm relatively tall/lean. Would be a bit short in the inseam, but wearing with rubber boots it's not a problem.
Temps in the mid teens… no problem!
I have hunted multiple hunts in these with temps in the teens. I use a thin base layer under the bibs, and matching hoodie, and was never the least bit cold. I was hesitant to purchase them for one reason. The short amount of time they are covered under warranty, and that’s only on manufacture defect 90 days. That made me think they were not made well, and Kings Camo didn’t have confidence they would hold up. I feel they are well made, and should hold up for years! With some companies offering lifetime “no fault” warranties on their clothing, I would definitely Come up with a better policy for covering problems with the products, especially on manufacture defects! With all that said I will likely buy more from King’s, and would recommend it to others.
Love these bibs. Keep wind off my legs. Made morning sit in the stand much better than expected.
XKG Wind Defender Combo
I have this same outfit, I bought this one for my daughter’s boyfriend. I raved on how it kept me warm and dry. He had to have a set for himself. Now he is enjoying the benefits of the XKG Wind Defender Combo! He left another big name hunting brand to switch to Kings!
XKG Wind Defender
