I bought this pattern for use in both Montana and NJ, can't wait to try it out. Unfortunately, I didn't draw a tag for Montana so I won't have the chance to test it for the main purpose I bought it (wind breaker), but I like the material and the seams appear well made. I am 5'8" with 48" chest and the Large pants fit well and I will be able to wear a base layer with no issue, however the XL jacket fit like a shirt, so it was too small to use as an outer layer, so I contacted the Company and they issued me an RMA to send back the XL and soon I had the 2XL, which I can now layer. Customer service responded quickly. Very happy with items, just cant wait to try them out this season.
Really liked the product. For the price point. WOW. But I am 5'5" and the smallest they make the pants don't even come close to fitting me. But I find that with all rain gear makers
Used them on a Wyoming elk hunt. Had rain and snow in September in the high country. Worked like a charm. Stayed dry as can be, even on horseback. Easy to pack and easy to put on. Love the full-length leg zippers! Great value for the hunter. So good, I bought another pair.
Finding quality raingear, that is both quiet and affordable, can be a challenge. King's has bridged this gap with the XKG Windstorm Rain Gear!! Both the pants and jacket have kept me dry in rainstorms and wet snowstorms. They are also super quiet, which is very important as you're hiking/stalking game. I was skeptical at first with the durability of the material, but am now super impressed as it has held up after hikes through oak and sage brush! Both pieces are lightweight and very packable. They are also nice to throw on to cut the wind. These pieces are must-haves in my bag at all times!!
This is the most terrible rain gear I have ever bought especially for the price. I hunt in some pretty wet conditions and was looking for something to keep me dry. Not this stuff I was drenched within 20 min. Never will buy again
