Production Assistant

Position Title: Production Assistant
Reports To: Production Manager
Based In: Lindon, Utah

Overview: Kings Camo is a hunting and outdoor lifestyle company that specializes in apparel, but also develops many accessories and hard goods. Under the direction of the Product Manager, the Production Assistant will assist the Product Development team with every phase from the development to the final production stages. You will organize and assess projects while assisting in moving them forward to completion. You will assist in communication with the team and vendors to ensure projects are completed accurately. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work as part of the Production team and demonstrate flexibility to support all aspects of product development and production.
• Work closely with the Production Manager to ensure calendar dates are met.
• Attend design pack handover meetings with the Product Team.
• Responsible for tracking seasonal color lab dipping, and maintaining an Excel tracking tool of all fabric by color with L/D send dates, arrival dates, and comments/approvals. Communicate comments/approvals to mills.
• Track and monitor all proto/trim/lab-dip submit dates and share with cross-functional teams as required.
• Send new style recaps to factories for quality review.
• Support Product Team with production-related tasks.
• Able to conduct after-hours virtual meetings with factories.
• Work with the Production Manager for all miscellaneous tasks.
• Attend cross-functional and milestone meetings as needed.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:
• Basic knowledge in textiles desired, experience with technical fabrics preferred.
• Experience in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Working knowledge of apparel production process.
• Must be able to troubleshoot production issues in a timely manner and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Team player with the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with management and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Deadline-driven, self-starter, analytical and extremely detail-oriented.
• Ability to work proactively and problem-solve.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good judgment and decision-making ability.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion or equivalent experience desired.
• 3-5 years of experience in garment manufacturing/product development/production/sourcing preferred.
