Prohibited Products Policy
Restricted Sales Notice: PFAS Regulations
Certain products containing intentionally added PFAS chemicals cannot be sold on KingsCamo.com in states where their sale is restricted.
What Are Intentionally Added PFAS?
"Intentionally added PFAS chemicals" refers to PFAS substances that a manufacturer deliberately includes in a product to provide a specific functional or technical effect (e.g., waterproofing; stain, grease and oil resistance).
How This Affects Your Purchase
- Products subject to these restrictions will be clearly identified above the "Add to Cart" button on the product page.
- If your shipping address is in a restricted state, you will not be able to check out with a prohibited product in your cart.
What Are PFAS?
PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are synthetic chemicals that have been widely used in consumer and industrial products since the 1940s. They are commonly found in materials designed for waterproofing, stain resistance, and grease repellence. Due to their persistence in the environment, PFAS are sometimes called "forever chemicals."
State Restrictions
Several states have enacted laws restricting the use of intentionally added PFAS in certain product categories (the “Covered Products”). Below are some examples, though this list is not exhaustive:
